The Holy Rosary Meditated

By Saint Mary of the Holy Spirit

The following meditation was transmitted by the Blessed Virgin on the Mondays 08/27, 09/04 and 09/11 of 2000 during her apparitions. She used Marcia's voice to permit the wonderful experience that everyone gathered on those days was able to hear the Mother's expressive sweetness and love as she taught us to meditate.

The Sorrowful Mysteries

The first Sorrowful Mystery - Jesus prays in the garden

Children, today we will meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries. In the first Mystery we will meditate on Jesus' Prayer, his anguish at seeing the Cup before his Soul.
Children, I, as his anguished mother will tell you: Jesus suffered a lot! You will say: How, if Jesus was God? How could He feel anguish and fear? But, little children, He was a man too, with human feelings, and seeing everything, everything he was to suffer, He felt the fear of death as he prayed on that mountain, as his friends slept and left him to pray alone.
Children, pray a lot. Share His tears and his drops of sweat and blood, from the fear he felt.
Children, ask God that by My intercession you may know how to accept his will. No matter how painful it may be, it will always be right. Little children, accompany your Lord and accept it. Amen. Amen.

The second Sorrowful Mystery - The scourging of our Lord

Children, in the Second Sorrowful Mystery, we will meditate on Jesus' scourging. Children, he suffered so much! There were so many blows!
Children, my little children, Jesus never complained, and you scream when you are barely scratched. Little children, my little ones, Jesus, being God, became man and He suffered so much! And He just loved those who were hitting him and he loved them a lot, because he was going to die for them, too.
Children, start offering up your sufferings, it is worth a lot! And it makes my Heart very happy, my little ones, very happy!
My children, I love you, and Jesus does too! So, ask God that by my maternal intercession, you may want and have the strength to offer up those pains, which will do your soul a lot of good. Amen. Amen.

The third Sorrowful Mystery - The Crowning with thorns

My little children, in the Third Sorrowful Mystery, we will meditate on the way they painfully Crowned my Beloved Son with thorns.
Children, what pain! My Son was bathed in blood, when they tripled the pain just to amuse themselves.
Those sharp thorns pierced the Blessed Flesh of the Son of God.
Children, they made My Son suffer a lot, but, my children, He repaid them in everything with love!, with Love, because He came for all of you.
The honor they paid him, the blows they gave him. How they insulted the Son of Man!
He, lowering his gaze, knew that this was for the Father's beloved children, for all you children. And as for Me, your Mother, they pierced my Heart.
My little children, I suffered alongside my Son. As a mother loves her children, I loved mine!
Children, you killed my Son, but my little ones, I love you so much; my children, so much!
Children, ask God that by my loving intercession, he may grant you the grace of offering up all the humiliations you receive in the name of Jesus, because that really pleases Us and the Father.
Children, humiliation is a great thing for God and for your soul. Just as Jesus received and bore it, you should do so also!
Amen. Amen.

The fourth Sorrowful Mystery - Jesus carries the Cross

My little ones, in the Fourth Mystery we are going to meditate on when Jesus, carrying his Cross, marches towards the place of his death.
Oh, my children, how I suffered. I, too, at seeing my Son near death, carrying his Cross, like a Lamb!
Through those streets, surrounded by people who shouted at him, who insulted him, as if he were the worst of all.
Children, it was God; God walked the streets! He was stepping on this ground.
Children, and soon you would take him away from here.
Children, he fell because he was exhausted.
Children, that Cross cut into his shoulder.
Children, He had already been so beaten and now on top of it he had the Cross.
He said nothing, he never complained!
Children, my little children, I met his gaze with mine and how much was said! Because I was his Mother, and He my Son, and a mother understands her son, even without speaking a word.
Children, how much he told me, how much pain he was in!
Soon, in a few hours, He will no longer be here with you.
Children, children! You still don't understand; many of you do not believe in Him who gave His Life for you. Children, why do you think I cry so much? Why do you think I love you so much?
Children, return to the Father, believe in Jesus!
Children, ask God that by my intercession you may be converted with all your heart and be humble, humble like God wants you to be.
Amen, Amen, Amen.

The fifth Sorrowful Mystery - The Crucifixion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ

In the Fifth Sorrowful Mystery, we will meditate on my greatest sorrow! The Crucifixion and death of the Lord!
Children, when Jesus came to His final place, he was crucified in the most terrible way!
Children, they took all of his clothes. In that time this was something awful; it was the worst possible thing. They took his hands and nailed them in the most violent way!
They took his feet and they nailed them together! He was in such terrible pain!
They lifted up the Cross and He could only hold himself up with difficulty. He could not breathe; his body fell forward and raising himself up to try and breathe, even a little, he would hit his head against the wood, driving the thorns in still further!
Then, children, with the little breath he had, he gave me the grace of being your Mother. I was the last thing he had left, and He also gave me to the world; he gave me to the world as your Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Children, Jesus cried, too!
Children, Jesus suffered everything you could possibly suffer. There is no pain of yours that He has not borne. He had all of the pains.
He had all of the anguished feelings. He felt everything, children, for you, and you repay him by sinning, by blaspheming! Children, return to God, I beg of you!
Children, do not pay so much attention to the things of the earth, because they will remain on earth.
Your treasures are in Heaven, where I am, where my Son is, where God is, the Holy Spirit. Children, what more could you want! You have everything and you don't see it!
Children, when Jesus cried out and gave himself to the Father, there you, too, returned to the Father. Little children, when the veil was parted you returned to the Father, because Jesus conquered death, my children; he died to give you life.
You will reach the Father through Him; you will reach my Son through me, children.
Children, my little ones, my hearts, ask God that by my loving intercession, you may be converted, children, and you must die to yourselves, so that God may be in you.
Understand, children, understand! Ask the Spirit that your hearts and minds may be clarified, so that God can come into you and I can hug you.
Children, I am always hugging and kissing you, but you don't feel it because you are so hardened, so hardened!
Children, My maternal embrace is so sweet! My heart was so saddened and it still is today. You keep hurting me, but I keep loving you and I will love you forever anyway.
I love you very much, my little ones, I love you!
Amen, Amen, Amen.
